I thought it would be nice to share this little trick I’ve been using for years on my workstations connected to domains. Okay so, if you’re tired of typing in your password every time you want to logon to your computer in a domain environment, you can make a quick registry edit that will remove the prompt and automatically log in as your domain account.
I wouldn’t recommend this if you work for a government as it is by no means SECURE (your password is stored unencrypted in the registry) but it’s a nice thing if you just need to quickly get into your system. For example, a Parallels virtual machine running in OSX.
