We’re in the studio working on demo sessions for the next record (which I think we’re recording in September. Give or take a few weeks). We spent all yesterday getting the bones together for 7 songs. Today we’re redoing some things and tonight we’ll have a finished demo CD to ship out to our beloved producer in Maine (Sam Kassirer).
Kenny Shultz is engineering us in this small studio on the second floor of a real estate office in Midlothian, VA. Things are sounding great already, Kenny was able to track the drums with only 3 mics. The studio has a ton of awesome equipment… like two 23″ Apple Cinema displays and a Mac Pro. I will NOT disclose the location, haha.
Michael Hagan is here today getting video footage for “Loosen My Tie“, presumably. He already has about 50 minutes of the documentary mixed down - which blows my mind haha. Hopefully after this record we will finally make his project worthwhile!
Photos and video documentation below, enjoy!
